A1 Alert Answering Service is a telecommunications business. While we primarily focus on inbound telephone calls, we also offer a variety of other messaging services.

How many days do you keep messages on file?
Delivered messages are kept 3 days in active computer files. Effective June 2, 2010, we archive and retain each client's delivered messages.


How long will it take to set up my account?
Set-up time varies depending on the size of your company. Most accounts are ready to answer within 24 hours or less.


How can I get my messages?
Messages can be delivered in a variety of ways. Some of the most common are voice mail, pagers, fax, e-mail, text-to-cell, and live from our operators. We will not hesitate to set up special arrangements for any of our clients.


How is billing handled?
Clients are billed monthly, which equates to 12 bills per year. Most clients pay a base price for service, then per minute of operator time. The per-minute billing is in 10-second increments. Please call 330.434.2222 for a quote specific to your needs.


What should I do if my pager is not working?
First, check the battery. Then, call and ask our operators to send you a test page. If you lease your pager through our company, we have spare pagers readily available.


How do I set up my voice mail or change my pass code?
Call your personal voice mail number and enter the security code given to you by our office. You will then be directed by an automated tutorial.
